Getting started with CAD

If you are interested in doing some CAD (computer aided design) at home, then you can download SolidWorks student edition. You will need a relatively up to date computer and the desire to dive into this.  The attachments should help you get started with the download and working through the tutorials.  We have a team license that is good through the end of 2015.  This software is for the team’s personal computers and not for school computers.  Please give this serial number out to team members only.

ROBOTICS UPCOMING EVENTS: Final days of January 2015

Hi everyone,
We are at the halfway point of the FRC build season with an awesome robot design in theory and an FTC team that finished first at the Tesla Interleague Championship and is now heading to State. Pretty darn good!  Note to FTC Team: The list of teams going to State is now posted on http://www.firstwa.org/.
Here are the main events for this coming week.

He will be driving the robot and battery box and can take a few kids, but we need a few more drivers.  Please let Dennis or I know if you can drive.  There will be a FRC meeting at the usual time (6:30 - 9:00).
